We're now four weeks into the summer holidays and our pods have seen guests from all over the UK and also a family from France.

We have had families with older children, families with younger children, couples and small groups of friends.

Some of the most popular things that they have done are:

Fell walking, there is an abundance of local fells but popular ones are Catbells, Latrigg, Walla Cragg, Scafell Pike, Blencathra & Coniston Old Man. 🥾

Visiting Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere and Ennerdale lakes and the beautiful walks close to them.

Paddle boarding on Bassenthwaite Lake. 🏄

Fishing at Bassenthwaite Lake, and also Maryport harbour. 🐟

Whinlatter Forest and the Visitor Centre.🌲

Honister Slate Mine.🪨

The Lake District Wildlife Park.🦓🐒

The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. 🚂

The beach at St. Bees. 🩳🩱

Whitehaven and the local coastal towns.🏘️

Shopping in Cockermouth and Keswick.🛍️

🎉🎉 1st August 2026 🎉🎉 - Today marks six years since we opened our first two luxury camping pods to their very first guests - 1st August 2020. 🎉🥳

An enormous amount of hard work went into the groundworks and putting the pods into place, this work all happened as well as our farm and agricultural contracting.

From browsing our indie shops, strolling by the rivers, eating and drinking alfresco, to discovering some of our town's history.

Plus, this evening, several venues have live music for your entertainment, and then of course, England vs Norway!

Always smart and tidy when the grass has just been cut. 😍

Cloudy moody skies with a wild wind have blown all afternoon, rain is on the way but let's get that over with and fingers crossed for some more of that beautiful weather we had last week for half term school holiday.

We are just a five minutes drive from Cockermouth, twenty minutes drive from Keswick and twenty minutes from the Solway Coast. 🚘

Something for everyone is any direction.
