With Storm Austen approaching and high winds forecast, Puzzlewood will be closed on Friday 23 October.

We hope to reopen on Saturday but are monitoring the situation and will share any updates on our social media assap.

"Wow! Thank you Alison & Ben for the perfect break at your annexe. We felt right at home. Eric settled down on the sofa with the extra doggy blankets straight away & appreciated his doggy basket. We have never stayed at such a dog friendly property. The property itself was spotless, the bed so comfortable & the shower amazing. Thank you also for being so accommodating with our van, we tried to tuck in as much as possible. We loved the quirky additions. We cooked once in the property & there was ample cutlery & crockery. The courtyard allowed Eric to nip out & the outside light was welcome when we came back in the evenings. We had two meals out at the Butchers Arms & the Fountain Inn & both were delicious - thanks to your guide book. I also settled down to a good book from the selection on the bookshelf. I couldn't have spent my birthday in a better place. Thank you. Liz, Mike & Eric xx"

Enjoy live music from local bands from 5:30pm, followed by both low-noise and high-noise displays!

Set in the stunning Wye Valley, this 6.3-mile circular walk takes you past the magnificent Goodrich Castle, through peaceful woodland and along the beautiful banks of the River Wye.

Expect gorgeous countryside, winding riverside paths, a few hills to get the heart pumping and plenty of places to stop and soak up the views.
