Think gentle waves, great rock pools, plenty of space at low tide, and the South West Coast Path right on the doorstep for longer adventures. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend or you’re a local regular, it’s the perfect place for a stroll, a paddle, or simply sitting and watching the sea with your dog by your side.

☀️ With a sunny bank holiday weekend ahead and Whitsun half term just around the corner, we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of guests across our coastal holiday parks.

If you’re planning time at the beach during your stay, please help us keep everyone safe by following a few simple steps:

🏖️ Choose a lifeguarded beach where possible
🌊 Swim between the red and yellow flags
🏄 If you’re new to surfing, stay between the black and white flags
🛟 Speak to RNLI lifeguards when you arrive - they’ll help you understand the conditions and choose the safest place to enjoy the water.

The RNLI lifeguard teams work incredibly hard to keep our beaches safe, especially during busy holiday periods, and their advice can make all the difference.

We’d also encourage everyone to remember Float to Live - a simple technique that could save your life if you get into difficulty in the water:

• Tilt your head back with ears submerged
• Relax and try to control your breathing
• Use your hands to help you stay afloat
• Don’t worry if your legs sink - we all float differently

Combe Martin is gearing up for one of the most unique and loved traditions in the UK — The Hunting of the Earl of Rone! The village will be alive with drums, costumes, music, and centuries‑old folklore from Friday through Monday.

Whether you’re a regular or experiencing it for the first time, this is the weekend when Combe Martin truly comes alive. Expect colourful processions, the iconic Grenadiers, the Hobby Horse, the Fool, and of course… the Earl himself.
