Bank Ground Farm

Bank Ground Farm Set on the edge of Coniston Water offering accomodation (B&B & Self catering cottages) Tearoom/Restau

Bank Ground Farm is set in over 60 acres of breathtaking Lake District countryside with private lake frontage and panoramic views over Coniston Water. This idyllic rural location, chosen by Arthur Ransome as the setting for his children's story "Swallows & Amazons" provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday, a romantic getaway or to celebrate a get-together with friends and fami

ly. Excellent location from which to mountain bike with Grizedale Forest on our doorstep. A footpath passes in front of the garden making it a perfect spot for walkers to start their day or to stop on their way home for a bite to eat.

As this beautiful ☀️ half term draws to an end, we’re planning our next break, a lil quick getaway to have in diary to look forward to! Any suggestions of somewhere similar to Bank Ground that has accommodation, restaurant and both water & land based activities so we don’t have to hop in the car to eat out or to launch paddle boards, start walks etc….

Happy bank holiday folks! Enjoy the sunshine ☀️
