With our site getting busier we thought it’s best to show where we are !

You can use google maps, what three words or even local knowledge to find us - once you get to our site you will be greeted with a set of double gates and our gorgeous sign to tell you your in the right place !

Looking for activities to do while you stay at our site ? 👀

Haverthwaite Railway is the place to go !

On site you will find;

- Tea room to indulge delicious food and warm beverages 🥧

- Gift shop where you can find a must have souvenir 🎁

- Engine shed to see how the trains work and how much power they really have! 👷

- Woodland playground for little ones to play while you enjoy a well deserved coffee ☕️

Start your Lakes adventure at Haverthwaite Train Station! Step aboard a heritage steam train to Lakeside, where you can explore the Lakes Aquarium 🐠, hop on a scenic steamboat cruise across Windermere, and visit the magical World of Beatrix Potter. 🌿🐟⛴️🐰

From steam trains to lake cruises and family-friendly attractions, it's the perfect day out in the heart of the Lake District.

We are officially open !! 🥳

Today marks the day we open our gates for our pop up campsite 🏕️ and we couldn’t be happier about it !

Although the weather could be slightly warmer and a tad drier - we can still have fun ( especially in the water).

We can’t wait to meet all of our guests and give them a brilliant camping experience! 🤩

We call it a …

✨Loo with a view ✨

New toilets have been delivered today - a very exciting & rather important attribute if you ask me ! 🚽

We’ve cleaned them throughly, ensured hand sanitizer is full, stocked full of toilet roll , made sure air fresheners are fresh and ready for action!

Who wouldn’t want to use these loos with a view like this ? Though please do shut the door while in use! 👀

✨Wildlife at Allan Tarn✨

We are all so excited to welcome all of our new guests this Friday, the 3rd of July. We’ve worked through all weathers to make this site possible for you all, however what we cherish most is our amazing range of wildlife. 🐾

From tiny minos swimming in crystal clear waters and iridescent blue dragonfly’s gliding over the tarn - to owls and elusive red kites flying overhead 🦅.

Squirrels (think of them as not grey - but elderly red ones!! 😂). Swans 🦢 a mixture of small song birds and long legged herons, amongst many other beautiful animals can be seen on our site 💕

As we are lucky enough to not only see all of these animals first hand, but to also share them with you, we ask you to respect the site as their home for all the time you stay with us - as it is what makes this site such a special place 🤩.

P.S. keep an eye out and you might be lucky enough to see our lonely pheasant Nigel, who seems to be extremely camera shy ! Perhaps it’s the name we’ve given him 😆🫣.

✨Looking for places to eat while you’re staying at our site ? ✨

The Manor House at Oxen Park is only 3.4 miles away - in a car it takes around 15 minutes 🚕 or you could take a leisurely stroll, estimated an hour and 22 minutes (to be precise)!

The gorgeous route is surrounded by fields, woodlands and farmland with lots of sheep 🐑 and cow 🐄 spotting opportunities! 🤩

The manor is a real showstopper of a place ranging from lighter bites at lunch to cosy meals in such a welcoming atmosphere 💕

Monday was another maintenance day!👨‍🔧🪠

The lovely Jack came to connect some taps on to our new water system🚰

We’ve now officially got fresh mains water for all of our campers staying over the summer! Lots of water is definitely needed if the weathers going to stay like this ☀️💛

Whilst our guests are more than welcome to use the water facility, the box holding the stop tap inside will be locked at all times 🔐 so you’ll find the taps on either side of the green fencing 🤍

BIG things are happening 👀✨

Our brand new pop-up site sign has officially gone up! 🚧🙌

It’s starting to feel real, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this space to life.

Keep your eyes peeled — we’ve got plenty more updates coming, and we can’t wait to welcome you all on the 3rd of July - that’s 19 days from now, (not that we are counting 😅).
