Swallowdale Holiday Cottage Closed 2024 Torver is a village of about 30 houses, 2.5 miles south of Coniston village and a mile’s walk from Coniston Water.

Two village pubs, the Wilsons Arms and the Church House Inn, are attractive and welcoming, serving great food. Torver sits under the Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crag. It is approximately 40 minutes drive from J36 (Kendal) of the M6. The house features:
