Here is our beautiful home that we have loved living in for the last 27 years now on the market. We have had four generations living in it during our time here. It has been perfect for so long, but as we are getting long in the tooth, time for a smaller place. So if you have a lovely family that would enjoy all the lakes has to offer, there is no better place to share your lives together here at Oaklands.

Oaklands occupies a wonderfully private position close to central Coniston, surrounded by mature gardens and open views towards the fells. Traditional Lakeland stone and a slate roof give the house an enduring sense of place.

Just enjoyed a beautiful walk to Torver and back along the lake shore. We are so lucky to live here. The garden is looking stunning at Oaklands (well a few weeds) the clematis are flowering well, we have 18 altogether and they flower from March until November. If someone comes along and buys our lovely home I have taken a few cuttings off them that are growing well. We are still open to a few guests now and again.....Judith and Zeke

This is why most people come to the Lakes, and we have it on our doorstep. How lucky we are to live here, but if you fancy a holiday then we can do weekly room only bookings. Please email [email protected], two of our rooms look straight up to the Old Man mountain range. Spacious, comfortable and you can while away the evening in the garden with a glass of wine. Perfect...........
