We’ve recently made room for a couple of new arrivals, replacing some of our slower sellers.

🍓🫐 Rekorderlig Wild berries has joined the line-up- just in time for the warmer weather. served ice cold it’s the perfect drink for sitting out in the beer garden 🌞

🍺 We’ve also welcomed Worthingtons to the bar. A proper pub classic that many of you will remember, bringing a bit of nostalgia back to the pumps.

🍻 One Year of Will! 🍻

Somehow, despite spending the last year right under our noses (and behind our bar), Will has managed to slip under the radar on our socials... which is quite impressive for someone who regularly serves half the Village! 😅

Away from the bar, Will has just finished his first year studying Photography at the Northern School of Art in Hartlepool. He's really found his thing in music photography and spends a lot of his time photographing local gigs and live events. If there's a band playing somewhere, there's a good chance Will's there with his camera.

As part of his course, he's also worked on documentary photography projects, including one looking at how our local area has changed over the years by recreating old photographs and comparing them with the present day.

One thing anyone who knows Will, will tell you is that he's one of the most easy-going people you'll ever meet. We're fairly certain we've never seen Will stressed. A packed bar, a queue at the pumps and three people trying to get his attention at once, and he's still as calm as ever.

But more importantly, he's just a genuinely great lad. Always willing to help out, never complains, gets stuck in when needed and is a pleasure to have on the team 🍻

Well… that was a Bank Holiday weekend and a half ☀️🥂

We genuinely had no idea how yesterday was going to go. Serving food was a bit of a last-minute decision after obsessively checking the weather forecast all week 😅

But you all turned up 🥹

We honestly can’t thank you enough for making it such a tremendous afternoon. The atmosphere in the beer garden was incredible from start to finish — sunshine, cocktails flowing, pizzas flying out, and everyone soaking up every last bit of Vitamin D possible ☀️🍹

Safe to say there were a lot of pizza-induced food comas by the end of the afternoon… exactly as a Bank Holiday Monday should be 🍕☀️

We’re really grateful you chose to spend part of your Bank Holiday with us. It meant a lot seeing the place full of friends, families, dogs, sunshine and good vibes all afternoon ❤️

Today our main bar & beer garden are open from 3PM 🍻

Food might be taking a day off, but we do have the elite snack lineup ready:
crisps, nuts & pork scratchings…
basically a balanced diet if you ask us 😅

Good friends, a Spritz in the sunshine, and nowhere else you need to be 😎

We’re OPEN for food & drinks from 2PM today!

Main bar, restaurant & beer garden open all day and all evening — and with highs of 27°C forecast, there’s no better place to spend the afternoon than in the sunshine with homemade pizzas & beers 🍕☀️

we’ve officially re stocked all spritz ingredients after most sold out yesterday 😅 and we’re ready to do it all again 🍹

Sorry it’s a little later than planned — you lovely lot have definitely been keeping us on our toes these past few days 😅 and we’re so grateful for every single one of you 🫶🏽

If homemade pizzas & sides, summer spritzes, cold beers and a gorgeous beer garden sound like your kind of Bank Holiday, then come and join us! 🍕🍻☀️

We’ll be serving food from 2pm–6pm.

Our restaurant area will also be open if you’d prefer somewhere a little cooler, and we’ve got both sunny & shaded spots throughout the beer garden, car park and outside the main bar 🙌🏽

You’re more than welcome to book, but walk-ins are always welcome too.
