A little trip out of the pub 🍇🍷
On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to be invited along to visit Lanchester Wines.
We were given a behind-the-scenes tour of Greencroft Bottling, where we got to see the whole process, from the enormous w**e tanks to the bottling, sealing, labelling & packaging.
It's something we've never really given much thought to before. We order our w**e, it arrives at the pub and we pour it for our customers. But seeing first hand just how much work goes into getting that bottle onto our shelves was a real eye opener.
And of course, we couldn't leave without a little w**e tasting! All in the name of research, naturally. 😂🍷
We've come away with a whole new appreciation for the w**e we serve, and even managed to find our next guest w**e along the way. Watch this space!
