We serve a daily home cooked menu using local produce in the Chapel Bar & outside patio. Gwynfryn B&B is a large 139 year old Victorian House which has been lovingly renovated into a 'Visit Wales' 4 Star Guest House offering beautifully decorated comfortable accommodation within the walled town of Conwy. Conwy is most famous for the magnificent Conwy Castle built by Edward I between 1283 - 1287. D
esignated a World Heritage Site, Conwy can truly lay claim to being one of the finest remaining medieval walled towns in the world. With a wealth of attractions that span the ages, events galore and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Gwynfryn B&B is ideally situated within the heart of the town, close to all amenities, attractions and both the Conwy Train Station & the local bus route for Conwy. Conwy is the perfect base for visiting all of North Wales including Snowdonia, Anglesey, Caernarfon, Llandudno, Deganwy and Betws-y-Coed but to name a few. In January 2008 Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast won the prestigous 'Travelers 2008 Choice' award from the independent travelers review site 'Tripadvisor' after achieving 8th Best B&B in Euorpe. This was followed in May by an invite from Her Majesty the Queen to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace for the British Hospitality Industry. We were honoured to attend and represent Conwy and Wales where we met the Queen and other members of the Royal family thereafter mingling with the other 350 guests including Sir Rocco Forte, Gordon Ramsey, Michel & Albert Roux and many more influential personalities from the British Hospitality Industry. In 2011 we were awarded the 'Certificate of Excellance' from Tripadvisor in recognition of our consistently excellant reviews.
