If you are heading to here this summer and fancy a trip somewhere different, look up Colwyn Bay. It’s got beautiful spacious sandy beaches with calm sea for the kids and a perfect spot for sunrise! During the week, there’s an hourly direct train from Deganwy train station costing £5 return so no parking needed. Colwyn bay train station is 1 min walk to the beach!

Would also recommend Bryn Williams at Porth Eirias Bistro restaurant if you like fish for a lunch or dinner out (dinner is only Fridays and Saturdays), with a beautiful view of the beach and they also do delicious breakfasts.

Rhos on Sea also has a favourite wine bar The Grape to Glass Wine Shop and Tasting Room, which is 20-25 min walk from Colwyn Bay station.
