Worth the uphill climb every time ✨

A walk up to Castell Deganwy rewards you with some amazing views. From the top, you can take in panoramic views across the Conwy Estuary, Conwy Castle, Conwy Marina, Llandudno’s Great Orme and the surrounding countryside.

If you are heading to here this summer and fancy a trip somewhere different, look up Colwyn Bay. It’s got beautiful spacious sandy beaches with calm sea for the kids and a perfect spot for sunrise! During the week, there’s an hourly direct train from Deganwy train station costing £5 return so no parking needed. Colwyn bay train station is 1 min walk to the beach!

Would also recommend Bryn Williams at Porth Eirias Bistro restaurant if you like fish for a lunch or dinner out (dinner is only Fridays and Saturdays), with a beautiful view of the beach and they also do delicious breakfasts.

Rhos on Sea also has a favourite wine bar The Grape to Glass Wine Shop and Tasting Room, which is 20-25 min walk from Colwyn Bay station.
