It has been a fabulous first summer for me here. Thank you to all lovely guests, both with and without dogs.
This was the first rain at Bodnant last week and I had a lovely wet walk with Bryn on one of their dog days.
Highly recommend and only 6 miles away.
I am currently drying out the winter log delivery and will have available for sale at Pen Glorian for those wishing to have a cosy evening in front of the log burner.
Would it be beneficial to you if I also stocked fire lighters and kindling?
Will be a bell ring away rather than a supermarket trip.

The heatwave this summer has revealed more details of Canovium, the Roman fort 4 miles up the road from Pen Glorian. Turn right out of the drive and head for Caerhun church. Visit the church and discover Canovium.

My lad thinks he is a dachshund.
Blankets are supplied to cover the furniture if your invite your dogs up.
Towels are supplied for after a wet walk.
Rugs and dog beds are changed between guests.
Everyone with dogs has left the house beautifully cared for on departure. Which means we don’t charge extra for your pets to holiday with you.

Mynydd y dref, Conwy town mountain, was unaffected by the recent wildfire. I have seen it burn in the past and obviously regrow, but this time the fire did not reach it thanks to our local fire crews. The damaged area is over looking Penmaenmawr, Dwygyfylchi and capelulo. Thankfully now out and thankfully no houses taken and no wild ponies harmed.

Not a favourite film of mine I will admit but it does have a cult following. For all you brave film fans the jaws replica boat is moored at Conwy Marina and can be booked for trips.
I wonder if the shark is dragged behind the boat on the trips. 🤔
