Warden Vacancy 2027
We are looking for a warden couple to join our team for this 2027 season, starting around mid-April and finishing around end of September.
Norden Campsite is a large family friendly touring caravan and campsite based near Corfe Castle in Dorset, in a beautiful and popular location set alongside other businesses. We strive to offer a friendly back to basics camping, without ready made entertainment and provide 2 good quality clean facility blocks. The site opens at Easter (weather permitting) and closing 31st October.
We offer static accommodation provided free of charge for the duration of the seasonal contract. Hourly rate of pay is currently £13 per hour (this is likely to change depending on the 2027 living wage). Laundry, wi-fi, gas and electric are included. Dogs welcome by agreement.
Our warden role is based on the site and is hands on, the job is foremost cleaning the 2 facility blocks daily to a high standard, dealing with bins, site/grounds work such as strimming etc, checking in late arrivals & customer engagement. We currently run a 4 on, 2 off shift pattern and hours are around 25-35 hours per week per person, depending on the time of year.
Additionally, there will be nightly on duty phone cover and evening checks at peak times, spread out across the team of 6. These are paid with a set fee and additional to working hours.
You will need to work closely alongside our other wardens, so good communication, positive attitude and being a team player is essential.
You will not be required to do reception work, although you may need to navigate our booking system.
Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given in all areas.
