Evening All,

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted…

We are opening this Friday, 27th March for our 2026 season, running through until Sunday 1st November 🙌✨

We have been busy, especially since the rain dried up last week and the Sun has topped up our internal solar power! What a difference to us all that makes! ☀️🌱

All our pitches and meadow have been fed, cut, weeded and cut again ready for opening this weekend. A few picture here now of our starting point and diary availability to follow…

Our long awaited wash bay has had its first coat of paint and the sinks are now being cut into the new worktops (finished photos of this to follow)…

We have added 2 additional serviced pitches which will be ready for use by May half term bringing us up to a total of 10, due to popular demand.

We would love to see you this season!
A reminder our standard grass pitches start from £15 per night and serviced from £23 per night. No pre-booking required and no minimum nights stay. Dogs are very welcome on a lead and we are within walking distance from the local pub, village shop, pasty and chip shop. And…if you don’t mind a little longer wonder it’s a beautiful walk down through our local woods to Portreath beach taking an easy 45 minute walk down!

Morning Everyone,

We are wishing you all a very Merry Christmas as the seasonal festivities are well underway! A little reminder that we re-open today, through until closing on Sunday 4th January 2026

Serviced pitches only due to managing winter weather conditions but we do still have space from today, Monday 15th until Tuesday 23rd December and then a couple of nights left from Thursday 1st January until Sunday 4th of January.

A great base if you are passing through or visiting family over Christmas! Just remember to bring a warm coat and wellies or waterproof footwear!

Afternoon Everyone,

Our gates have closed for our main 2025 season!

We say it every year but I will say it again, I'm not sure where the season has gone?!

I want to extend a huge thank you for another well supported campsite year! This goes out to absolutely everyone who stays with us. Whether you pop by for a 1 night stay whilst touring around the county or you stay for a month as a regular friend. All of your custom is deeply valued.

Whilst we have welcomed many new customers again this year we have the pleasure of many return customers now becoming much more like an extended family. Either visiting multiple times during our season or having now spent many years with us since opening as such loyal faithfuls! I love our time together - personal stories, reflections on the growth of the campsite and general life perspectives and giggles!

However you support us I want to extend how incredibly grateful I am for your support and continued feedback! It's been an absolute pleasure to spend another year with you all on our simple little site and we have lots of little tweaks to keep us busy over the winter!

Finally, none of this would be possible without the huge support I receive from Roger, as our Site Warden and my wonderful parents Andrew and Janet, for their un-waivered support and guidance along the way. They all play a tremendous role in the support network around me so I can build a business that supports my main role, of being a Mother to my 2 beautiful children!

Evening Everyone,

And we have landed in Autumn!

As our summer campers have gone home we are settling into our reset phase of the year starting today with fertilising and weeding ahead of aerating and topsoil coating, one pitch at a time!

Below is our diary for September if you fancy a break away. No minimum nights stay and walk-ins accepted on the day. All grass pitches from £15 and serviced pitches from £23.

Whilst our standard season ends on Sunday 2nd November this year DID YOU KNOW>>>>>WE WILL BE OPEN AT CHRISTMAS!
All serviced pitches in our paddock available from Monday 15th December to Sunday 4th January 2026!

We all ready have a few of our regular customers booked in to enjoy time with local families. Just dropping it here now in case anyone else wants to join us over this time! Seems crazy that we are speaking about Christmas already but out there for all those forward planners!

And Happy Bank Holiday Monday!

I'm not quite sure how we arrived here quite so fast but what a treat it has been! A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us this summer - it's been such a pleasure sharing the summer sun with you all (and the odd windy gale to shape our character!)

Sometimes it's an accumulation of the simple things that make up great day! A morning sunrise, great conversations with like minded people, warmth on our skin, nature and sand between our toes.....
Here I share a couple of pictures of sunrises I get to enjoy whilst doing the morning cleaning and checks. Magic to my eyes....

Just a quick post with the remainder of availability coming out of the bank holiday and into September. See our diary availability below.

No pre-booking required (subject to availability), no minimum night stay and low season prices start again from August 31st with all grass, non-electric pitches starting from £15 per night and fully serviced, semi-hard standing pitches from £23 per night.

£22 per night for 2 people sharing without electric.

I also want to put a shout out here for our wonderful local, outdoor theatre group Rogue Otherworld who start shows this week. A firm favourite of ours for immersive outdoor theatre in Tehidy Woods just a mile up the road. Daytime family shows and night-time, darker humour shows...a great few hours out which we always highly recommend! Enjoy!

**Cancellation this morning for a weeks stay from Saturday 2nd August for 7 nights in Pitch 18, one our of our all grass, optional electric tent/campervan/motorhome pitches**

Pitch 18 shown below, in the bottom left hand corner of our meadow, in our "cubby corner" next to the calves.

Morning Everyone,

Happy Summer Holidays! For most now, we have officially begun our summer term and we are so looking forward to welcoming many on site again, and for the first time!

On a continued theme of sharing our pitch types with you.....Today I wanted to share our standard all grass pitches.

These are all approximately 10 x 10m with 3 large bordering hedges to create privacy and some wind protection. They are all on the outside perimeter of the campsite allowing a large open space in the middle for children to play.

Online these are described as "optional electric". What this means is that for the standard summer price of £22 per night (based on 2 people sharing) this is for the pitch alone.
Electric is an additional £5 per night.
Additional adults, children and cars are additional costs also.
No additional charge for dogs, awnings or gazebos.

Whilst these pitches are all very similar they are split into 2 categories:
1. Tent, trailer tent and campervan
2. Caravans and Motorhomes.
The only difference between these types is that our 2 dedicated all grass caravan and motorhome pitches have water, grey waste and chemical disposal points a little closer to them than some of the other pitches all grass pitches.
Otherwise they can be used relatively interchangeably.

Here are some pictures to demonstrate this and again our calendar for the summer with our remaining availability.....

No minimum night stay or pre-booking required if we have space so spontaneous one or two night stays continue to be most welcome. Pictures of July and August Diary below.
