Hello folks! Been working on baking the perfect homemade Bara Brith for the welcome tray at the cottage, (translated as 'speckled bread' which I think is a wonderful description). Any advice welcome! Found the no yeast VisitWales recipe easy (even for me!) and tasty - the cake definitely improves if you leave it a week - how difficult is that though! Here are a few pics - the 1st one is the dried fruit soaking in strong tea overnight. I should include a picture of me stuffing my face with cake! You'll just have to imagine that one! Got to sample the goods! Would love to hear from anyone who has any tips or a recipe to share. Thank you! Jane
