We are currently looking for a motivated individual or couple to join our team and take on the role of warden for Gaerhyfryd Caravan Site in Corwen, North Wales. We have 38 fully serviced pitches.
We are looking to establish a 5-8 month fixed term contract, salary to be negotiated but above minimum wage. Starting in March 2022.
Working hours will be somewhere between 36 – 46 hours per week but applicants must be flexible in regards to hours and will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and evenings, being on call 5 evenings per week. Terms to be negotiated.
The roles you take on will be varied and will include reception/admin work, cleaning and site maintenance.
Cleaning duties will include regular checks of toilets and showers; cleaning daily and sanitising; sweeping floors etc.
Other site maintenance will include grass cutting, weeding and other gardening tasks; checking and emptying bins; checking and maintaining the hot tub and all general site maintenance.
You would be required to have a good telephone manner and be comfortable using a computer to respond to emails and enquiries on other digital channels. Also, to operate the online booking system.
We run a relaxed and welcoming site so a confident, well mannered and friendly personality is essential as the warden’s role is front of house and the face of the business; meeting and greeting guests and looking after their needs.
The successful applicant must be able to work well under pressure and be prepared to follow simple systems and instruction for the smooth day to day running of the site.
Experience is not essential.
A fully serviced hard standing pitch for your own motor home/caravan will be provided. Or accommodation can be arranged. Applicants with pets are welcome.
