Luxury Holiday cottages and log cabins in the heart of the Welsh country side on the banks of the River Dee. With stunning views in all directions this is a truly unique place to stay. Our collection of luxury self-catering cottages and cabins are ideal for a romantic escape or a large family group getaway. Rivercatcher’s collection contains five stunning cottages sleeping from 2 to 10 guests and

four log cabins sleeping 2 guests each. Our function room (The Lodge) is a place for special events as well as a fully equipped games room for a little indoor entertainment on those rainy days. Each luxury cottage and cabin can be let individually or as a collection, with accommodation for up to 38 guests at any one time. Private hot tubs come as standard at Rivercatcher for you to relax in and soothe the day away and award winning beds ensure you get the deep sleep you need for the next day. Families are catered for with baby essential and toddler packs available for your on arrival. We have a dog wash on site for those spending their days adventuring with their 4 legged friends. The beautiful scenery of Snowdonia and the Berwyn Mountains is perfect for cyclists and we have a secure bike storage and cleaning facilities. We look forward to seeing you soon!

A little goodbye from behind the scenes 💚

After 4 years, it’s time for me, Emily, to say goodbye to Rivercatcher.

I’ve been the person behind the social media, emails and enquiries, as well as checking the properties and getting everything ready for our guests - as well as meeting some lovely guests along the way.

I’ve loved coming to work in such a peaceful setting, and I’ve picked a few of my favourite photos from over the years to share with you. 🌿📸

A big thank you to Andy, Aled and Mandy for the last 4 years — it’s been lovely being part of the team.

Here at Rivercatcher, we’re proud to be dog friendly, and even our resident four-legged team member, Teddy, is often on site to welcome our furry guests! 🐾

With enclosed gardens, plenty of beautiful walks, a dog shower to clean off those muddy paws, and the stunning River Dee right on our doorstep, there’s plenty for your pooch to enjoy! 🌿🌊

Whether it’s splashing in the river, exploring the countryside or simply relaxing by your side, Rivercatcher is the perfect getaway for dogs and their humans 🐕✨
