If you like spotting barn owls, then you need to come and stay in our new shepherd's hut, Fferna. Our pair can be seen hunting in the woods in front of the hut most mornings and evenings. And the best thing is you don't even need to leave your bed to watch them!

🌿 Introducing our new Mini Wellness Breaks! 🌿

You can now book a private wild swim and sauna plus a one-night stay in our shepherd's huts for you and up to three of your friends.

Experience swimming among the water lilies, the deep heat relaxation of our wood fired sauna, then drift off to your own hut for a BBQ and a restful nights sleep.

It's just £156 (£78 each) for two people, or £252 (£63 each) for four people. You also have a choice of one or two bedrooms in each hut.

We are so excited that Lucy from is coming to The Forge at 2pm on Thursday 6th August to run a Sauna Ritual Afternoon. Using a blend of leaf whisking, aromatic infusions and music, this will take your sauna experience to a whole other level and leave you feeling calm, connected and grounded in nature. We only have 8 places available and they are just £45pp. We are also offering a special discounted rate for 2 people to enjoy the ritual followed by a night in one of our shepherd's huts for £175 total for both of you.

Our first water lily of the summer! It makes me so happy knowing that they've made it safely through another cold winter and that they are happy in their new wildlife pond. These lilies are deep oxygenators, so as well as looking beautiful, they are also working hard to keep our pond water clean and healthy for all the other species living there 😊🫶.
