As part of a village community we are fortunate to have local facilities, a garage, a village store and Post Office, a public house serving excellent cuisine and most importantly public transport, all just a short stroll from the park. We are brilliantly located for cyclists & keen walkers and within driving distance of many tourist attractions in York, Hull, Bridlington & much of the East Riding countryside.

The Village with everything!

We like to boast that Croft Park is ‘in the middle of nowhere, but not far from anywhere’. It’s an ideal base to visit, towns, the coast and countryside. We’re also very proud to be part of the Little Weighton community.

One of the smaller villages in the immediate vicinity, Little Weighton is not short on facilities!

The village post office (a rarity in itself) also boasts a convenience store. The shop is owned by Mark & Jo, who also own and run the Black Horse pub and restaurant.

The Black horse can be found just near the village pond on the opposite edge of the village from us. Only a 10-minute walk from Croft Park, it’s the ideal venue for an evening meal or a tipple when our onsite café is closed.

Just a few hundred yards from our site you’ll find the village playing fields and children’s playground.

There’s even a garage just up the road from us should you have the misfortune to have car problems when away!

Easter is fast approaching.

Oh what a beautiful day!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the daffodils are in bloom, the horses are grazing and the temperature is hovering around 12-14 degrees.

The Amazing Sarah!

She’s only a little lass (which is more than can be said for her head after reading the previous post), but she’s power-packed!

Sarah has the main responsibility for day-to-day management of the holiday park, which means there’s not many jobs out there she hasn’t had to turn her hand to at some point, as evidenced by the photos.

Trip Advisor Review – 21st February 2026

We’ve just returned from the most incredible stay at Croft Park Lodges, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough — especially thanks to the amazing Sarah, who made everything absolutely seamless from start to finish.

Sarah’s customer service was nothing short of outstanding. She was professional, kind, proactive, and genuinely caring — the sort of service that instantly puts you at ease.

The lodge itself was beautiful — spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell real care goes into maintaining the property. Everything was clean, fresh, and well presented, creating that perfect relaxing atmosphere as soon as we walked in.

The hot tub was a real highlight! It was checked daily, which really reassured us about cleanliness and safety.

It’s those little details and standards that make such a big difference — and Croft Park Lodge absolutely delivers.

We also loved the on-site café. It was warm, welcoming, and a lovely place to relax. The staff were friendly and added to the overall positive experience.
