Our facilities allow you to experience the full enjoyment of the rural outdoors from the comfort of one of or fabulous cosy, camping pods. This new style of camping is now more commonly know as Glamping and is now a popular choice of holiday amongst the camping community, who still want to embrace the great outdoors but also want a solid roof over their head. Our Pods
Set in a peaceful grass field

surrounded by trees, our 6 timber camping pods are fully insulated and double-glazed with electric lighting, power sockets and kettle. Each has a balcony with porch light and barbecue area, so that time spent outside the pod is comfortable and contained allowing your to enjoy long evenings, relaxing in your own space. On site there is a communal toilet and shower block plus kitchen facilities. Location
Picket Pods If you choose one of our camping pod holidays you will be situated amongst 100 acres of pastureland farmed by Mike and Alison Gibbon, which also incorporates a working equestrian Livery yard. Our South Wales camping pods are located on a working Farm, the spot itself is what we consider to be the best and most suitable for spending leisure time, as it is in a sunny sheltered place surrounded by trees. A part of the farm where we have always enjoyed spending time and hope you will too ! The farm is set in the heart of rural Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, yet only 17 miles west of the capital city of Cardiff with all its amenities. Locally you can enjoy the nearby Heritage Coastal Path, rugged beaches or sandy bays, long walks through fantastic scenery or horse riding through the sand dunes. You can then end your day enjoying a BBQ round your campfire or dining out in one of the many fabulous country pubs found nearby. Also located in the Vale is the pretty market town of Cowbridge, with its plethora of quaint shops which will tempt even the most discerning of customers. There are also several golf courses close by together with historical references for those wanting to explore the past. For those wanting activity, there are many attractions, which include arts and crafts, paint-balling fishing or horse riding. The beach at Barry Island is also only a short distance along the coast which is not only home to the hit TV series Gavin and Stacey but also plays host to an exciting funfair for those who like the thrill of fast rides and a rush of adrenalin.
