I've said it before and I'll doubtless say it ag*in but it is so lovely when a customer gives us feedback like this. They had pad krapow moo (stir fried minced pork with holy basil) and tom kha g*i (chicken and galangal in coconut milk) for a takeaway yesterday. They are our Thai specials for March and today is our last day in March so get yourself over here if you would like to have some amazing Thai food.

We have a new page.

When we took over this business, we reverted to the name Coxwold Tearoom. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to change the name of this page. Neither can we set up a new page called Coxwold Tearoom because that has already been taken by a previous owner of the business. So, searching for names which are more appropriate, we have at last found one that Facebook is happy with. That is #

Wow! All the scones sold out so Jimmy is busy making more. It's been a very successful promotion but a few people have said that they couldn't come because of work. So, we are going to continue it tomorrow and Sunday. Two more days of ludicrously cheap cream teas! Just five pounds for a fruit or cranberry & orange scone, jam, clotted cream and a tea or a coffee.

Good morning. For this month's Thai lunch specials, we have a real northern treat for you. There is a choice of Gaeng Hung Lay (Chiang Mai curry with belly pork and jasmine rice) and Khao Soi (Chiang Mai noodles with chicken). As always, there will be vegetarian versions of both dishes. These are treats not to be missed so we hope to see you soon. Open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Next Friday, 7th November is the first anniversary of our taking over Coxwold Tearoom. To celebrate that, we will be doing cream teas (a scone, clotted cream, jam and a tea or a coffee) for a fiver. Yes, you read that correctly, a fiver. We will be open from 10am to 4pm as usual and hope that lots of you will come and join us.
