Today marks four years of The Shoregate. Four years of offering something a little bit special, and being rewarded with generous reviews and by finding our place in the Crail community. Thank you to all our guests and supporters.

Hounds, poochies, mutts, woofers, doggos, puppers and tailwaggers. Our back bar welcomes them all. Curled up snoring under a table or focused hawk-like on the last 3 crisps in a packet of cheese and onion.

Water bowls and biccies are at the ready from 12, Wed - Sun and now from 3, Mon & Tues.

Winter sips are over and now it’s time to take great gulps of what The Shoregate has prepared for visitors this spring and summer.

With the bar now open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3pm, you can treat yourself to a local pint, a signature cocktail or slug of the black stuff, any time you like.

Stay at The Shoregate and start your mornings with a proper full Scottish breakfast.

Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding, haggis, tattie scones, toast.

And a tomato and some mushrooms (“sorry” to the traditionalists).

This is a breakfast to fuel 36 holes in a roaring gale, a coastal ramble to St Andrews and back in the sun, or just a gentle potter around the village before elevenses.

'Summer' opening hours are here again.
Come and have a pint, a cocktail, or a glass of wine or three in the bar on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3pm, whatever the weather. Shorts optional.
