☀️ Places to visit - St Ives ☀️

🚗 St Ives is a 45 minute drive away from Trevella Park, it’s one of the most popular places to visit in Cornwall 🚗

🚞 For an easier journey, catch the train to St Ives by using the park and ride at St Erth Railway Station. It’s just off the A30. A 10 minute train ride and one of the most scenic journeys, overlooking beautiful white sandy beaches along the way 🚞 🏝️ 🌊

🏝️ We like to get off the train at Carbis Bay and walk along the coast path into St Ives, it’s a lovely gentle walk with spectacular views over St Ives Bay 🏝️🌊🛥️

🏡 St Ives is a picturesque village with narrow cobbled streets overlooking the fishing harbour, with plenty of shops to wander around too 🏡🛥️🐟🛍️

🏝️ The harbour surrounds several golden sandy beaches, perfect to spend the day relaxing on 🏝️🛥️

🍰 There are lots of lovely places to eat and drink too, plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants to choose from 🍰☕️

🏡 Our Watergate caravan is an ABI Beaumont Villa, larger than a standard caravan 42ft x 14ft. It’s beautiful throughout and comprises of 2 Bedrooms, Bathroom, En-suite, Kitchen and Lounge leading to a spacious south facing decking. 🏡

☀️ A beautiful sunny afternoon exploring Crantock Beach, Pentire Headland & The River Gannel ☀️

🌊 We had a little adventure today, starting at Crantock, paddling on the beach and walking up to Pentire Headland overlooking the stunning sea views of Crantock and Fistral 🌊

🥪 We had a pit stop at Lewinnick Lodge before heading back to Crantock 🥪

🚤 The tide was coming in so we walked down the steps by The Fern Pit Cafe and caught the ferry boat back to Crantock 🚤

🐶 We are dog friendly and so are all the local beaches, which can be accessed by the spectacular South West Coast Path 🐶

🏄‍♀️ Newquay, a favourite seaside town is less than 3 miles away, with an abundance of shops, pubs, restaurants and sandy beaches. 🏄‍♀️

☀️ Holywell, stunning at any time of the year, just a 10 minute drive from Trevella Park or you can also walk along the south west coast path taking in the stunning coastal views ☀️🚗🥾🐾

🏝️ Holywell is a large sandy bay surrounded by sand dunes and caves. There’s a large stream that flows into the sea that’s great for paddling in 🏝️🩴 🌊

🪨 There’s lots of rock pools to explore and also the caves to search for the Holy Well 🪨🦀

🏄‍♂️ Surfing and body boarding are also popular too 🏄‍♂️🌊

🍽️ There’s plenty of food and drinks available at Holywell Beach Bar and Treguth Inn 🍽️

🌅 When evening comes, the sunsets are amazing at Holywell 🌅
