It’s beautiful down by the lake this morning, the mist is just lifting off the water and it’s so peaceful ❤️

It’s quite an emotional time for us as we’ve decided to put our lovely lodge up for sale after owning it for the last eleven years. We are planning to sell at the end of the season and are still honouring all this year’s bookings, so no need to worry if you have a holiday booked with us.

We’ve had a great time owning and managing Woodpecker, and have met many lovely people, but it’s time for us to relax now and maybe have a few new adventures, we’re not getting any younger, strangely enough. It would be amazing if one of our regular guests bought the lodge and then we’d know it was being loved as much as we’ve loved it. Having said all this we still have one week available from the 29th August as a special offer at £795 for up to four people. So if you fancy a last stay by the lake before we sell please let me know.
