2026 will definitely be the summer of cosmos. The apricotta is very pretty but I think my favourite is still the white one.

A bit of gold & blue to say farewell to July.
A month that started with a funeral, followed by a wedding and has involved an awful lot of admin, dealing with unnecessary bureaucracy and a greater amount of swearing than I would normally indulge in.
So we are ending it with a well earned bottle of Bollinger 🥂

Just a reminder to keep your hedgehogs and foxes well watered during this dry spell.
Lots of video footage last night - mostly of hedgehogs drinking and our fox cubs’s brush!

Repotted our cheese plant a few months ago and had to take off one of the leaves.
Decided to see if I could use it as a cutting. Put it in water and it sprouted roots. Potted up in the original pot and came back from Cornwall to this magnificent new leaf!

Very tired right now and taking it as easy as I can, but a potter round the garden is balm for the soul. It’s definitely bugloss season!
