Very pleased to be hosting an electrical firm from up North down in our gorgeous 5 bed 2.5 bath home in High Wycombe for the next few months while they work on a big project in the local area.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a really visual person. In order to plan the look of my rooms I dive into Canva and put the actual items I plan to buy in there. It’s a godsend! I can see what works and what doesn’t. Setting up houses is expensive and you want to do it in as little time as possible, so it’s best to make sure of your decisions before you buy.

What do you think? I think the reality is fairly true to the vision. Sadly the green paint in the bedrooms isn’t as dark and luxey as I wanted it…it’s a bit Wimbledon lawn kind of green in reality. But I was in China having to choose paint colours online on a computer screen, which proved tricky! I guess it’ll do! 🎨 overall I’m really pleased with it all.

I’m property-obsessed and have been for the past decade. I run Abode Accommodation and take pride in offering clean, modern, comfortable and well-equipped serviced accommodation properties for contractors.

What I love most about running Abode is the creative side (interior design!), and offering excellent customer service to our guests.
