Phil & I had a very productive morning in the garden before the first of our April guests arrived this afternoon..

Tidying up the garden, lawn and planters after a long Winter to greet Spring with open arms! What a treat to have such a sunny dry morning, albeit fairly windy!

Is it too early to bring out the sun loungers? 😅☀️ we’re ever hopeful, and manifesting a warm April for our guests, so they’re out! 😅🙌

The plants are all starting to show signs of life again, we’re really looking forward to seeing their growth and waiting for the Summer blooms 🌺

Crack open the bubbles, the hot tub is awaiting! 🥂

Festive touches at Acacia Cottage for our Christmas & New Year guests.. ✨

Merry Christmas one and all, and thank you to all of our wonderful guests (and all the doggos!!) who we have welcomed to the cottage and who have stayed with us here in Mid Devon this year, what a year we have had!!🎄

It's all about those cozy autumn feels at Acacia Cottage today as we welcome some new guests after a much-needed two-week break 🍂

Cute pumpkins and the most beautiful mocha coloured roses with dried bracken, we just love embracing the seasons! 🍁

Acacia Cottage today just looked splendid ✨
. and so did the 180 degree view of the beautiful Devon Countryside it overlooks ✨

A very hot changeover for us today, but so totally worth it to greet our new guests who are staying from the Isle of Man with their gorgeous golden retriever 🫶

We are so lucky to have such wonderful guests .. thank you 💛

Across the landing from the bedroom lies the incredible bathroom, complete with huge freestanding bathtub for two, perfectly positioned to gaze out of the window and adjacent Velux window which adds soft natural light to the room.

In addition, there's a huge walk-in shower, complete with rainfall head, for wake-me-up ablutions.

We're in love with the monochrome tones used throughout this stylish room, especially the tiles, whilst the huge, heated rail to ensure towels are kept warm and fluffy.

Acacia Cottage is unusually spacious for a couples retreat.. 💛

We designed Acacia to be able to treat our couples to the utmost luxury of having a huge master bedroom with super king bed, as well as a large upstairs studio/lounge area and an epic bathroom with large walk-in shower and bathtub for two..

Plus, you also get the addition of the huge slate patio for dining Al fresco, the large enclosed lawn where the dogs can play and feel free and not forgetting the 180 degree view of the rolling Mid Devon countryside in front of the cottage… 🫶
