Big news: Lania is leaving us today to head off to Manchester University!

We’re absolutely gutted to lose her, mostly because we now have to figure out who is going to reach the bottom shelf. In all seriousness, she’s been a legend behind the bar and we’re going to miss her massively. Go smash it, Lania! (And remember: lectures are temporary, but pub shifts are forever. Can't wait to have you back working the Christmas rush! 🤣).

Thank you for being such a fantastic part of the team. Manchester won't know what hit it! Wishing you the absolute best of luck with your studies.

We’re delighted to share that, to date, we have now given away 20 community carveries to people in our local community.

We have some spare food today, so we’d love to brighten someone’s day once again.

Do you know someone who deserves a free carvery?

An elderly neighbour, an unpaid carer, someone going through a difficult time, or simply someone who always puts others first?

Nominate them in the comments or send us a private message and we’ll choose one deserving person or family and deliver a freshly cooked carvery completely FREE of charge.

Tonight at 8pm is Quiz Night with our brilliant quiz master Pip.

Our kitchen is open, why not come for your tea and pick the best seats?

Quiz entry is just £1 per person, with all entry fees going into the prize pot for our game of Play Your Cards Right. As an extra bonus, the jackpot is a rollover from last time, so there's even more to be won.

The winning team will receive a free round of drinks (for up to 4 people).

We will also be playing open the box.

Everyone who enters the quiz will also get a free spin on our Wheel of Fortune, with the chance to win a range of prizes, including pizzas, desserts, or our ever-popular Mystery Boxes.
