We received this beautiful message from one of our guests who stayed with us a few weeks ago and felt uplifted by his kind words.
We just had to share it:
Good evening, Veronica and Colin,
It has been almost two weeks since I have returned from my "walk" along the West Highland Way, and nearly three weeks since I showed up on your doorstep with my sore feet after an epic 21.5 miles from Rowardennan to Crianlarich and your lovely Guest House, which I believe I described to Julie at Gemini as an "Oasis" at the end of that day. I believe I also noted to her that I was instantly rejuvenated when I was greeted by your smiling faces, and viewed your lovely home. I could not imagine a more perfect ending to such a difficult day. And, to start the next day with such an amazing breakfast, albeit I regret not having the full Scottish, had me revived and skipping my way back to the trail!
My niece Sara and her partner Henry told me it was a wonderful experience being with you both, and they were correct!
I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank you both for making the effort to return my old, well worn, glasses case to me. I SO appreciate you taking the effort to make that happen. It was such a pleasant surprise to see it atop my luggage when I arrived at Allt Na Leven B&B, not because it was so valuable or not having it was negatively impacting my walk, but that you both were so kind to go through the trouble of getting it back to me, that was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated!!
Thank you both again for helping to make my walk along the West Highland Way a memorable one, especially at the end of "that day". I will be certain to pass along an A+ review to any and all who are thinking of doing the WHW.
My very best to both, and thank you again!
Tom
