And that’s a wrap on the summer hols! Don’t worry, we’re still serving in our coffee shop daily 9am-12 and 4-7pm for any locals or guests who fancy a delicious coffee, breakfast roll and more (can’t promise this level of art every day as one of our best baristas, Jack, is off back to Uni soon, good luck for this year Jack!)

Today, one of our longest and dearest regulars, Felicity, raised a toast to her late husband, Pete, who loved this place and would sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this part of the campsite. This stone bench is now a place for all our guests to relax and enjoy the calm that the water, the birdsong, and the views provide. A fitting tribute to a wonderful man who is very much missed by all who knew him here 🫶

For our guests arriving this week: the wild fires burning on Llangynidr mountain have not affected us and our valley is safe to travel to. Our local fire fighters are doing an incredible job keeping the fires under control and we hope things will improve very soon. If you want to support them, our local Co-Op in Crickhowell is taking donations of water and other essentials for all the fire fighters and volunteers working to keep everyone safe.
