We are looking for a General Assistant.
Start Date – Immediate until September/October 2026
Salary – Hourly, National Living Wage
Summary – General Assistants take responsibility for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel facilities and the
prompt delivery of services to our customers.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Cleaning bedrooms and public areas - working as part of a team to achieve the highest standards of
cleanliness and hygiene throughout designated areas of the hotel
• Ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean - supporting the work of our Head Chef by ensuring that all
equipment is kept clean and ready in a timely manner
• Dealing with customer enquiries – supporting the front of house team assisting with service and
maintaining cleanliness at all times
Skills, qualifications and experience
• Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
• A hands-on approach to work, with a can-do attitude understanding the need to be flexible
• Have a positive & energetic personality
• A team player, willing to help out staff in other departments if the need arises.
