On National Doggy Day 🐾 we celebrate all of our wonderful friends with little paws.

Here is stunning Shar Pei beauty Luna, she is a very familiar face at our place along with her Mum & Dad, she even pulls on her lead at the door if they dare to walk past! We always make sure that there are plenty of treats and snuggles for her.

We fully understand how important precious down time with your dog is. That’s why well behaved dogs are welcome in our bedrooms, lounge and restaurant, so that you can just enjoy plenty of carefree time together.

ℹ️ William Churchyard, owner of West Street Stores and a boarding house had a house on this block designed by A.F. Scott. He began to run it as a hotel, making additions he entered an application dated 25 August 1898 to the Cromer U.D.C for the Cliftonville Hotel to be altered and extended. The work was done to the design of George Skipper, who added the embattled entrance bay and the dining room to the west, with the typical Skipper cupola to the top of the tower on the corner.

We had the pleasure to host Cromer royalty for lunch today so we grabbed a moment to capture Carnival Queen Naomi on our famous staircase and doesn’t she look absolutely stunning!

We are honoured to host this special occasion every year on carnival Tuesday after the royals have spread the love at Cromer hospital and Benjamin Court. They tucked into a moreish buffet including the chairman’s favourite cheese straws and a Levels pizza.

The moment was made even more precious as Naomi and husband Eddie posed for their wedding photographs on our magnificent staircase in 2010 and the Cliftonville was Naomi’s first job role after relocating to Cromer. All the stars aligned to make it one of those unforgettable moments.
