Your hosts George and Annette and the team look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful, new surroundings, whether you’re staying in the hotel, having a meal in our restaurant or just a quiet drink in the bar we feel confident that your first visit won’t be your last. There has been a bar on the site for well over 120 years now which has become a landmark in the village and surrounding area. The completely revamped restaurant now seats over 70 people comfortably in a pleasant atmosphere. If you’re taking a seat in the restaurant our chef has created a menu for you with something to please just about any taste, and not to mention our already famous, Sunday Carvery, which is as impressive as it is satisfying. The Fir Tree Country Hotel has 14 double rooms, which are all en-suite and finished to a modern and very high standard. The en-suites are serviced by state of the art shower units and wash stands and all of the beds have extremely comfortable cashmere mattresses for a great night’s sleep. Each room comes equipped with a curved, digital Freeview TV, coffee and tea making facilities along with a USB charging socket and Wi-Fi.
