The season might be over, but we’re just getting started.

2026 is already shaping up to be a big year, and we’re looking for a General Manager to help lead the way. Someone steady, sharp and ready to guide our team through another season by the sea.

Live here, work here, enjoy the benefits (like endless sauna sessions) and keep Cherry Tree running smoothly.

Having taken a moment to reflect on the 2025 season, I want to thank everyone for choosing to stay at CTF. It has been an amazing summer, with way more perfect sunsets than we could have wished for. Meeting those returning and new campers alike, has been special and it is a first season to remember. It has been full of nostalgia for me, having camped there since I was a young boy. So coming full circle has been really quite remarkable.

The staff have been the foundations of its success and the team have earnt a well deserved rest this winter. I am really proud of how hard they have worked, and don’t have enough thanks for the hours they have put in to make everything work smoothly behind the scenes and keep those facilities sparkling clean.

From washing up after feasts, to unblocking those pesky drains, I have loved every second and am super excited to move into 2026 and welcome you back for what we hope will be another sunny summer ☀️

I am grateful to the Lang family for entrusting us with their legacy and am chuffed that with the support of my family we are keeping Cherry Tree going to continue being a campsite in the heart of a special village, in a really special location.

BOOKINGS FOR 2026 ARE NOW LIVE

After an amazing first season we’ve closed the gates, but already planning what’s next:
* More electric hook-up pitches
* New XL pitches in Strawberry, with space for two cars
* Breezlands is now our quiet, adults-only field
* Dog-friendly fields have changed slightly so double-check before booking
* Ruby and Flo will each have a private toilet and shower, with more bell tents on the way
* Little Lag is available for exclusive hire, get in touch to book
* Tidswell is now a dedicated rewilding space

We’ve got plenty more ideas and updates in the works which we’ll share soon.

The last supper of 2025 🍽️

Last weekend we hosted our last feast of the season with and 72 of you!

It was so much fun, especially with on the decks, and we can’t wait to host many more - stay tuned for next year’s line up 🍒

Little pieces of the season for you to take home 🍯🌱

Our shop closes on 12 October. A few jars of our Cherry Tree honey are still for sale, and our nitrogen-rich compost is free and bagged up for you to take home. Drop by and grab them before they’re gone.

Swap your desk for sea views 💻

All stays until 15 October get access to free Wi-Fi, so you can plug in when you need to, and log off in time to catch a few waves and sunsets.

This is the best of late season: quieter fields, crisp evenings, lower rates. The sauna’s still running, yoga and mobility classes are on, and the sea is at its warmest. A slower pace, with space to yourself.

🍒 End of season feast with | Saturday 4 October. 🍒

It’s our end of season send-off. Join us for a big old feast in the barn, and this one’s a bit naughty.

A powerhouse team of women from Cornwall, Naughty Nonnas, will be joining us to celebrate the end of our first season by filling the barn with delicious food and plenty of silliness. You can dance off dessert to the DJ set after dinner 💃

For one night only, the queens of big flavours and bigger mischief will be serving up plates piled high with Italian delicacies. Naughty to a T, indulgent, and impossible to resist.
