Handouts have gone out this afternoon to everyone who expressed an interest in this one. Still space if anyone else wants to join us.
17 and 18 October – Let’s write an anthology
For those who are interested in being involved in creating a Solus Or anthology. The theme will be Solus Or (meaning golden light), and it can be interpreted in any way you wish for any genre. We’ll be looking for short stories, flash fiction, poetry, or creative non-fiction such as memoir, travel or nature writing.
The weekend will be full of writing exercises and prompts, as well as craft based sessions.
Any profits from the anthology will go to charity. (To be decided.)
You don’t have to attend the retreat in order to contribute to the anthology, but it will be a great starting point.
Zoom sessions will focus on -
What are we going to write? Inspiration and what to do with it
Writing to a theme
Titles, beginnings, middles and ends
Making the piece anthology ready, and what happens next
Final thoughts and Q & A.
This virtual retreat is suitable for anyone who writes short pieces and would like to contribute to an anthology.
Only £30.
