We have a range of pitches, static caravans and glamping plus two fishing lakes. A quiet getaway of a camp site with a "proper camping" feel. Set in a valley this woodland site offers everything that a camping holiday should be. Camp fires are allowed, pets are welcome, you can camp in the woods or in the open field. Our most recent addition is the Retro Roma Caravan, a modern Gyspy Caravan fully

furnished with it's own woodburner and decorated with cut glass and chrome it offers something very different.

David, with a faithful four-legged friend by his side, strolling beneath the canopy of overhanging trees and through the lush ferns, making his way between the many unique areas of Kingsmead.

From our onsite shop, the walk leads past our spacious grass pitches, electric pitches and hardstanding hook-ups, before wandering into our peaceful woodland camping areas. Continue down to our beautiful fishing lakes, then across to our spacious overflow camping field—each part of Kingsmead offering its own special atmosphere and charm.

It's always such a pleasure catching up with Kath! 😊

Kath has been visiting Kingsmead for years now, and it's wonderful to have her energy around the campsite every time she comes back.

What really stood out during our chat was hearing why she keeps choosing Kingsmead, even though she lives nearby. For her, it's all about the peace and quiet, reconnecting with nature, and taking a step back from the busy pace of everyday life to focus on the things that really matter. 🌿✨
