Earlier this month, we celebrated our annual Staff Appreciation Week – a chance to say a huge thank you to the brilliant people who make our hotel what it is 💛
From front-of-house to housekeeping, kitchens to golf, events to spa, every member of our team plays a part in creating the experience our guests know and love. And this year, we certainly kept them busy!
🎟️ Golden Tickets & GM Awards – surprises hidden around the hotel, along with some very well-deserved recognition from our GM.
☕ Thank You Monday – we kicked off the week with a hearty breakfast, plenty of tea, coffee and appreciation, while our golfing team enjoyed 18 holes on the course.
🚗 HoD Takeover Tuesday – our Heads of Department swapped their usual roles for buckets and sponges, handwashing staff cars! Then came the great HoD Job Swap… our GM and BD Manager stepped in to serve breakfast, while our Restaurant & Bar Manager swapped cocktails for cardio and led a spin class! 🚴♀️ And that was just the beginning – there were plenty more unexpected role swaps happening across the hotel!
🧘 Wellness Wednesday – a chance to slow down and recharge with Reformer Pilates and a Matcha Morning.
🍔 BBQ Thursday – the team came together for a BBQ, with good food, plenty of laughs and time to celebrate the people who make Westerwood so special.
🥞 Pancake Friday – we rounded off the week with pancakes, more thank-yous and one final reminder of just how much our team is appreciated.
