Another project off the list with the re-roofing of the outside shed. This was quite a tough job - the joists under the roofing were all rotten so had to be replaced. It therefore ended up being a much bigger job than first anticipated.

You can't beat a wee relaxing walk alongside the river in Cupar. Apparently the River Eden is around 30 miles long and the name Eden derives from the Celtic word ituna, meaning water, or rushing.

Our neighbours upstairs were finally able to carry out their external renovations to their property. We were a bit concerned about the ivy actually growing into one of their windows - it didn't affect us in any way, other than being a bit of an eyesore but they worked their socks off to get the work done within just a couple of days as we closed the flat for bookings during the work so that our guests weren't affected. Now - of course - our shed roof is a bit of an eyesore so watch this space over the next couple of weeks whilst we re-roof the shed and tidy up the wee patio sun trap area.

The windows boxes at No. 17 are looking very lovely at the moment.

The patio area is a lovely little sun trap - but unfortunately we actually need some sun. At least the window boxes don't need watering at the moment.

Can't believe that Christmas dates are now open for booking on Airbnb (don't worry - we won't be putting the decorations up until December).

John made the wooden Christmas tree himself - customising it to fit into the lounge window area. It's a 'one off' as he's not available for commissions (at the moment) !!

No17 patio has had a wee tidy up. John has upgraded some beer barrels to make a seating area. Cushion to make it all a bit more comfortable are ordered and on their way.

Lovely Sunday morning walk in Cupar - just a couple of minutes from No.17. Did you know that a group of Herons is called a 'Siege' but our little Heron friend is on his own, looking for his breakfast along the river. https://airbnb.com/h/no17jk
