A great start to the 2026/27 season at Lodge 19!

This evening saw our first regular meeting of the new season, and it was great to see such a good turnout of both members and visiting Brethren.

There was no degree work on the programme, which gave us the opportunity to bring the Brethren up to date on the business conducted over the summer months and look ahead to the programme for the coming season.

The highlight of the evening, however, was having the privilege of affiliating two new members into Lodge 19. We are delighted to welcome them both into the Lodge and look forward to their company and contribution in the years ahead.

All in all, a very enjoyable evening and a lovely way to begin our regular programme for 2026/27.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Lodge. We hope to see you all again soon.

Next meeting will be on Wednesday 16th September. EA° worked by our WSW with all other office bearers stepping up. More details to follow in due course.

🤝 A Great Day of Freemasonry and Friendship 🤝

On Saturday 22nd August, Lodge Coupar o’ Fife No. 19 made the journey to visit our good friends at Lodge St John Corstorphine No. 788, where the Brethren of Lodge 19 conferred the Fellowcraft Degree.

Despite a few late call-offs and illnesses, we still managed to take around a dozen members through to Currie and put on a fine performance.

As always, we received a very warm welcome into the Province of Midlothian, followed by excellent hospitality and a great afternoon of Freemasonry amongst friends.

The friendship between our two Lodges has now been going strong for more than 10 years, and these annual visits have become a fantastic occasion in both Lodge calendars. Long may that friendship and tradition continue.

A huge thank you to the Brethren of Lodge St John Corstorphine No. 788 for making us so welcome and looking after us so well.

We now look forward to next year, when it will be our pleasure to welcome the Brethren of 788 back up to Cupar! 🥃🤝

Here’s to many more years of friendship between 19 and 788.

📚 Masonic Education Night 📚

Have you ever wondered about the symbolism and deeper allegorical meanings within the Entered Apprentice Degree?

Join us for an informal and engaging evening of discussion as we explore "The Elements and Allegorical Meanings of the EA°." Rather than a lecture, this will be an interactive session where everyone is encouraged to share thoughts, ask questions and learn from one another.

This evening is open to all Freemasons, regardless of Lodge or experience. Whether you've been a Mason for many years or have only recently joined, you'll find something of interest.

If you're a newer member and feel a little nervous about coming along on your own, please don't be. You'll receive a warm welcome from the moment you arrive, and there will be plenty of Brethren happy to introduce themselves and make you feel at home.

Come along, meet Brethren from other Lodges, enjoy some good conversation, and perhaps leave with a fresh perspective on the Craft.

Age Concern Cupar urgently needs our help.
For many older people in our community, the centre is a lifeline providing friendship, support, activities, and a hot meal. Sadly, both of their buses are currently off the road and need major repairs, forcing the temporary closure of the centre.

Without these buses, many vulnerable people cannot attend and are now facing increased isolation and loneliness.

If you can spare anything at all, no matter how small, it will help get this valuable community service back up and running.

What an exceptional visit we had to Lodge Cromwell, Braintree, Essex.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome and outstanding hospitality from the Brethren. We were privileged to witness a fine Master Mason degree, delivered with great care, dignity and skill.

The festive board that followed was every bit as enjoyable, with excellent food, fine wine, heartfelt toasts and plenty of good humour shared around the table. Most importantly, new friendships were formed and new experiences shared amongst Brethren from different places and backgrounds.
It is occasions like this that remind us what Freemasonry is truly about. It does not matter where you come from, Freemasonry gives us the opportunity to come together in friendship, enjoy each other’s company and strengthen the bonds that unite us all.

A sincere thank you to everyone at Lodge Cromwell for making our visit such a memorable one.
