Following on from my last post, this is the view looking towards the village of Waterfoot, a stunning part of the Glens of Antrim. Not the best shot of the day as I was facing into the sun but it gives a good impression of the location.

Waterfoot lies in Glenariff, the largest of the nine glens, the Causeway Coastal Route which you can see in the photo turns left into the village, a scenic loop drive goes straight on to the top of the glen and Glenariff Forest Park with its excellent walks, waterfalls and views. The loop returns via Glenballyeamon into Cushendall, some great vistas on this drive.

Waterfoot has a superb beach and picnic area including a play area further along the beach.
