After many years behind the bar, serving drinks, sharing laughs, and creating memories, the time has come for our wonderful landlady, Averil, to retire from The Halfway.
Averil has been the heart of the pub, welcoming everyone with a smile and making The Halfway more than just a pub – a place where friendships were made and the community came together.
We would like to thank her for all her hard work, dedication, and the countless happy times she has given us over the years. She will be greatly missed by customers, friends, and staff alike.
Please join us in wishing Averil a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement filled with good health, happiness, and plenty of time to enjoy the things she loves.
