Never a minute here at Sugar Pine Lodge. During the closed winter period there will be many little things to do from touching up the decor to repairing the steps, updating all the certificates and a bit of garden maintenance however, the good news
Sugar Pine Lodge is now open for booking from March onwards through Airbnb website or their app.🙂 Hope to see you soon ❤️

As our holiday season comes to an end for this year we would like to thank all our guests who came and stayed with us here at Sugar Pine Lodge.
Nearly ready to open the bookings on Airbnb for next year and if you are thinking of coming please look up Bainloch Deer park where you can get up close to some majestic wild animals or cute little ones like these either by just watching from the bestro or taking a 4x4 tour.

Busy year for us here at Sugar Pine Lodge we've fully booked till the end of October. We've not opened next years bookings on Airbnb just yet as some changes might be in the pipeline, however wherever you're staying in the area Bainloch Deer Park has added the new feeding experience truck to they're tour list. Get up close seated on the back of the truck and feed the deer with a good possibility of over 100 Deer coming round expecting food from you. Tours and the feeding experience can now be booked online before you come🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

Beautiful sunny day here in kippford, specially made for a drink or two up at The Tee Room Bar, not even 500m from Sugar Pine Lodge makes it our local 😀 🌞🥂

Summer finally showing itself here in South West Scotland 🌞 our guests will be having a great time sitting outside enjoying the views. Can't seem to find a current photo so heres an old one but the view never changes 😍

I had the pleasure of getting a look into what you might experience if you book a tour here at Bainloch Deer Park. To see these majestic wild animals come right up close to your 4x4 tour vehicle is something else, with so many Red and Sika deer to see you're spoilt for choice to which ones to look at. As you're driven around the park your knowledgeable tour guide will give a running commentary on the habits and ecology of the Deer within the park with some insight to the history of the local countryside. Definitely a must if you're in Dumfries and Galloway.

We had a weekend away only to be contacted by our guests saying the shower had stopped working🫤 (3rd shower in 3 years)
So, cut the weekend short, stopped off to buy new shower,( better make this time) organised plumber to be on standby, drove 3 hours back and had the new shower up and running by 2pm.
Happy guests 😀

Always something to do or in this case something to lookout for.
Not that I mind wasps at this time of year but not at Sugar Pine Lodge that's just going to upset folk this one being pointed out by our current guests after me dealing with two others last night.
O well can't have beautiful countryside without having unwanted lodgers 🐝🐝

We had a great weekend off from working and what did we do instead? We had friends up to stay, we went to the beach and went to the pub. The Anchor Hotel was excellent, food, staff and Basil had a great time under the table being pampered by the staff and others enjoying the great weather and food. ❤️❤️🐕🐕⚓️⚓️
