Get your scran while you can! Highly, highly recommend to all, especially our guests staying at Whitecroft Farm's Myrtle and Rose Cottages... We'll miss Skipper's Scran Van over the Autumn / Winter, but wish them a good break.

Gorgeous

Earlier this week, our Area Manager (Andrew) and Regional Director visited Mersehead to catch up on developments and meet with the team.

Before the end of the day, Andrew popped out to see what was around and managed to spot this little gem in the Sulwath Garden.

After a bit of discussion, head scratching (and confirmation), we've concluded that it's a Willow Warbler, in leucistic form. What a stunning little thing to see!

If coming to the reserve (Barnacle Geese and ducks now returning), then keep on the look out for these little birds. There have been a good few Chiffchaffs seen and heard also, in last few days.
