Well, that’s our busiest week ever at Chequers Lodge done and dusted! 🎉

2 laundry deliveries, 350 biscuits later, and if I do say so ourselves, we’ve absolutely smashed it! 💪

A huge thank you to all our guests, especially those attending the Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre and our many returning visitors. Your loyalty means so much to us.

Now we go again! Just one room left tonight before our regular corporate guests are back for the working week.

This morning one of our guests’ vans decided it had no interest in going anywhere. 🚐😴

Thankfully, we had jump leads, a willing pair of hands, and got them back on the road in no time.

Today we’re fully booked as we welcome guests for the International Festival at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. 🙏✨

It’s one of our favourite events in the calendar, and we’re delighted to be welcoming guests from Florida, Marbella, and beyond who have travelled to be part of this special event.

Today we also said goodbye to some wonderful guests, who left us the most thoughtful gift before checking out. Gestures like these mean so much to our team, and we’re incredibly grateful for your kindness. ❤️

We wish everyone attending the festival a peaceful, inspiring, and memorable time, and we look forward to welcoming many more guests over the coming days 🌸

It looks like this week could be the first time ever that our whole property is occupied at 100% for 7 days straight! 🎉

We normally run at around 70% occupancy, so reaching this incredible milestone means so much to us❤️

This week the kids fancied a little treat, and they chose to visit Biscone in Barrow 💕

Safe to say they made a great choice – everything was delicious and the service was amazing ✨

We love supporting local businesses whenever we can, and it’s always nice to see the kids choosing somewhere local too.
