The baking (and Bakewell) is back after my little jaunt away to see the Australian family in Cambodia! Steve did everything while I was away, apart from the baking. That was a bridge too far! 😁

As the Danby Wiske beer festival is off to a flying start, I thought I’d post a few other events planned for the summer:
If you love cake, May 16th Women’s Institute coffee morning. June 28th, the Village Strawberry Teas.
Love a bit of entertainment? There’s an outdoor cinema event on May 30th and a live performance of Romeo and Juliet on July 19th.
Love your wine? Wine tasting in the village hall June 12th (need to book https://www.facebook.com/abventsbottlestop)
To finish off the summer, Danby Wiske Scarecrow Trail on the weekend of 29 & 30th August.
Should be a fun summer and something for everyone 🍰 🍓 🎦 🎭 🍷 😎
