Christmas Party Nights at Walworth Castle 🎄🪩

Your Christmas night out deserves somewhere a little different this year. How about a castle?

Two of our party nights are already fully booked, but there's still time to join us on:

Join us at Walworth Castle for a two-course festive meal, followed by an evening on the dancefloor with our DJ.

Forget about the taxi home and head upstairs instead! Our overnight packages start from £169 per couple, including a bedroom for the night and two party tickets. Prices vary by room type and availability.

Before the Christmas rush begins, enjoy an autumnal night away in the County Durham countryside, near Darlington.

November is a lovely time to visit Walworth Castle. On colder days, our three fires are lit, and the Castle feels particularly cosy. Wrap up for a walk through the woodland on our estate or, if the weather isn’t on your side, stay inside, enjoy good food and make an evening of it.

Our Autumn Escape Package includes tea or coffee and a seasonal slice of pumpkin pie waiting for you on arrival, a two-course dinner for two on the evening of your stay, and breakfast in the morning.

Please note that we will be closed to the public from Sunday 4th October to Tuesday 20th October 2026.

The castle and its estate are booked exclusively for the D&D adventurers joining us from around the world.

Darlington Restaurant Week is back from Friday 23rd - Friday 30th October 🍽🏰

At Walworth Castle Tavern, enjoy 2 courses for just £20 or 3 courses for £23 from our specially created Restaurant Week Menu every day during Restaurant Week from 12pm - 8:30pm.

On Sunday 25th October, our Restaurant Week offer will be available on our new Sunday Menu, which is served from 12pm - 8:30pm.

Table reservations are essential, and booking in advance of visiting is required by clicking the link in the comments below.

Please note, we are going to be closed to the public from this Sunday 4th - Tuesday 20th October as Walworth Castle Estate is privately booked for D&D in a Castle for the final time this year.

Please note that we will be closed to the public from Sunday 4th October to Tuesday 20th October, as the castle and its estate are booked exclusively for the D&D adventurers joining us from around the world.

What's catching your eye? 👀🍽

Take a closer look at our Tavern Menu and discover something new to try on your next visit to Walworth Castle.

Packed with flavour, the new menu features hearty mains like the Braised Short Rib and Grilled Pork Chop, alongside Brisket Doughnut or Twice Baked Soufflé starters and Tiramisu or Clementine Trifle desserts.

The castle tavern menu is served:
Monday-Saturday, 12pm-8:30pm
Sunday 5:30pm-8:30pm

We have a light bites menu available Monday - Saturday, 12-5pm.
