With its imposing location on the sunny Kingswear side of the River Dart Low Tides has panoramic views of the river with its myriad of activity including the occasional passing steam train. The main house occupies the top 2 floors but the private one-bedroom flat on the lower ground floor has its own entrance with outstanding views and is available to let for weekends or short breaks as a base to
explore the beautiful Devon area. If you enjoy walking or just sitting and admiring the view then Low Tides offers accommodation to suit many tastes. The original 1930s house was demolished in 2013 to make way for a contemporary three storey dwelling optimising its position. The large garden is still a work in progress so please bear with us! The drive sweeps down allowing you to park a car just above the house. The internal space includes an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with a separate bedroom with super king bed (which can be split to offer single beds) and fully equipped bathroom with a walk in shower. An internal staircase leads up to the main house but the flat is entirely private and self contained. The large, private gardens run on a steep slope making the garden not suitable for the infirm or very young children. There are some steps to get to the flat entrance from the parking area. It is also a short, but steep walk down to the ferry to go to Dartmouth.
