Our Story

We rolled into Dartmouth by accident. We were looking for a coastal cottage with character that we could own and seeing a sign to Blackpool sands , we thought to go there. En route , a couple of miles from Blackpool Sands we saw a sign...DARTMOUTH...so we diverted .....our reactions were instant. Dartmouth was it and that's where we found an 18th century cottage with spectacular views which we transformed over a year into what most people call “ an exquisite cottage that oozes charm and cosiness, with a view that no photograph can do justice to – breathtaking...”

Come and see for yourself, stay, eat, relax, see friends and throughout the year join the many food, music, yachting festivals ending the year in november, when lit by a trail of candles and lanterns, Father Christmas arrives by boat. Dartmouth is Santa’s own gateway.....its true!
