We do not know at this stage if the road will be repaired, so many suggestions are in the pot, it could be something different. We need to get this stage done to hopefully get Government funding & the rest we have to wait and see🤞🏻⁣

Please sign and share. The A379 "Slapton Line" is a vital link for residents, businesses, schools, deliveries and emergency services. The “back roads” cannot safely cope with the volume of diverted traffic. This area is also significant for its WWII history (D-Day rehearsals / Exercise Tiger etc) and also sits beside Slapton Ley, a protected nature reserve now at serious risk of being breached. I'm so desperately sorry for the local residents and businesses who urgently need support, and a properly funded plan for recovery and long-term resilience.
