Full-Time Site Maintenance & Grounds Assistant wanted at Leonards Cove Holiday Village!

Are you a reliable, practical, and hands-on person who takes pride in doing a job properly? Do you enjoy working outdoors, fixing things with a great eye for detail, and being part of a friendly, family-run team? If so, Leonards Cove Holiday Village wants you!

Set on a stunning clifftop overlooking the South Devon coastline, our holiday park offers a peaceful, beautiful environment where your skills and initiative will make a real difference every day.

The Role:
This is a varied, full-time position where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in everything needed to keep the park looking great, safe, and welcoming — from grounds maintenance and minor repairs to helping out with accommodation preparations during busy times.

Your key tasks will include:
-Carrying out basic plumbing and electrical repairs with precision and care
-Keeping accommodation in top condition by spotting and sorting the small jobs that make a big difference for guests
-Chopping logs and managing firewood supplies
-Mowing, strimming, weeding, and light landscaping to keep the grounds immaculate
-Sweeping and cleaning outdoor communal areas to maintain a tidy environment
-Identifying and resolving minor maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
-Working safely with tools and equipment across the park
-Reporting larger maintenance needs and collaborating with the team to solve problems

What We’re Looking For:
-A physically fit, practical person who enjoys hands-on work outdoors in all weather
-Someone with good attention to detail — able to silicone showers, do neat repairs, and leave everything looking polished
-A flexible, reliable team player who can also work independently and take initiative
-Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or accommodation support preferred but not essential.
-Comfortable with manual tasks like chopping logs and carrying equipment
-Willing to work full-time (40 hours per week) including alternate weekends and busy periods
-Full UK driving licence is crucial

Part-Time Housekeepers Wanted at Leonards Cove!

Days Required: Mondays and Fridays (with potential for more hours during peak times)

Role: Cleaning and preparing lodges and caravans to a high standard, making beds, changing linens and working closely with a team. Training provided.

Who We’re Looking For:
-A team player with great attention to detail
-Someone reliable, punctual, and proud of their work!
-Ability to work as part of a team or independently
-Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.

With the dry weather continuing, we're asking all our guests to help us use water wisely during their stay!

As Leonards Cove has its own borehole water supply, even small changes can make a big difference. We'd really appreciate your help by taking shorter showers where you can, turning off taps when they're not in use, and only using the water you need. Every little bit helps reduce the strain on our water supply! 😊
