🚂 All aboard! Steam trains are passing through Dawlish this month

There’s something special about the sight (and sound!) of a steam train rolling along the coast 🌊

Thanks to Coast Cams, we’ve got a heads-up on when you can catch them, so you can be ready for that perfect moment 📸

Find a good spot, take in the views, and enjoy a little piece of railway nostalgia as it passes by…

Do keep an eye out for any changes, as timings can vary.

Rail News! This coming weekend has two special trains booked to pass through Dawlish.

On Saturday 9th May there is another English Riviera Express this time from Northampton to Kingswear which is steam hauled for the final part of the journey from Taunton to Kingswear and return. Hopefully it will be powered by 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley this time passing Dawlish at 12:09 & returning at 17:58.

Also the Britannic Explorer Pullman is due to call into Dawlish Warren at 10:53 to allow a Cross Country express to pass. Dawlish time 11.07. This train returns through Dawlish on Sunday 10th at 15:28.
